Klatch
Colombia Coffee for Peace
Lime, Chocolate, Nectarine
Created in alliance with the Caficosta Co-op in the Bolivar region of Peru, this sweet and smooth lighter roast brings a little light into your morning routine. That’s bringing a little more peace to coffee farmers in conflict regions, and hitting big notes of ripe nectarine, cocoa and spice—both things we can get on board with. Best served black.

Roaster notes
We’ve made this Colombian with a washed process to bring out its natural bright acidity and a smooth mouthfeel. It reveals aromas of chocolate, lime and green herbaceousness The first sip has an upfront lime flavor that cools to a clean lemon verbena finish. Then comes the nectarine, floral notes and sugar cane.
Roaster
Klatch Coffees Roasters were born as a result of nurturing relationships with the farmers who grow the beans. Klatch believe that the art of their coffee begins right where the seeds are planted. That's why green buyer and roastmaster Mike Perry travels the globe to get the earliest possible look and taste of the results from each harvest. Klatch's commitment to honest business practices means building trust and loyalty with the farmers they work with. All of this is accomplished through a Direct Trade model and a simple handshake. That's the way they do business. After the beans are sourced, they make their way to Southern California where the quest for only the best continues. Mike uses his degree in Chemical Engineering to achieve a balance of science and sensory prowess they call “Peak of Flavor” roast style.
