Roaster Notes
Bright, full of berries, with a pure, sweet character: Kii AA is an outstanding example of the terroir of Kirinyaga. It reveals elements of cranberry, black currant, apricot, and delicious Aromatix sweetness. The texture is typical of Kenya, a result of the classic washed process, while the lasting syrupy sweetness balances the bright fruit notes.
The Barn had from the beginning a clear vision: to make their coffees better and better. No compromises – simply great coffee. Their coffees are always single-origin to work out unique flavour profiles and to present each of their farm partners optimally. This makes their producers proud and the product is completely traceable. Today The Barn is one of the best-known specialty coffee brands and works with a strong network of independent cafés around the world that want to serve single-origin coffees that stand out in their local markets.
