Roaster Notes
Our house mix Günter is a bright, fruity-sweet espresso roast with nutty notes and a particularly long-lasting creamy mouthfeel. 50% of the mix is a coffee from Fazenda Matão. It comes to us through Niklas and Luis, who visited Mats in 2022 in Brazil. Another 25% of Günter comes from a Guatemalan organization, to which about 665 farmers belong. The remaining 25% of this coffee comes from many small farms in Ethiopia to us through Plotcoffee.

Günter Coffee Roasters have made a name for themselves in the specialty coffee scene. Philip Weller is a two-time German Roasting Master (2024 and 2025) and Aurore Ceretta placed second at the World Cup Tasting Championships 2024. With their expertise, they have set themselves the goal of making the countless varieties of the coffee plant as experienceable as possible for their customers and themselves. Genetics and growing region, with their microclimate, make each bean and its flavour unique – which the Günters coax out through sophisticated roasting. The result is coffees distinguished by different flavour nuances that always surprise. It's worth trying!
