"The name, which translates to 'little waterfall,' comes from the small waterfall located at the east end of the valley. Seu Geraldo, the patriarch of the Borges family, strives to uphold not only the quality of the coffee but also the livelihoods of his community and the land that provides so much for them.\n\nIn partnership with FAF (Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza), an international green coffee supplier, the surrounding farms have also had burgeoning success. Their ethos that 'coffee quality is first and what gets you in the door' has resulted in sustainable farming practices. It has educated them on the coffee they produce and beyond the farm and into their own households with the improvement of living standards and equipment."
Notes Coffee Roasters hit all the right ones. As their motto says: “High Grade, Sourced at Origin, Lovingly Roasted in East London!” What more could you ask for? Notes Coffee Roasters aren't your typical roastery. They only work with single origin coffee and never dabble in blends. This means their portfolio of coffees are singular, are the efforts of hard working farmers at origin are rewarded. Expect delicate coffees and myriad of flavours, and know that your morning brew is helping contribute to the maintenance and continued improvement of harvest at source. Now that’s something we hear (and taste) on repeat.
