Since 2003 when their café launched in Surry Hills, Single O has shared what it’s passionate about, one cup at a time: that coffee has farms attached to it (not a commonplace notion back then) and paying more for higher quality crops returns more to producers. Drawn to fresh single origins and blends, they crafted each batch to reveal new taste nuances for Sydney. These days, Single O is still running those Surry Hills digs, while supplying a vibrant, coffee-focussed community of cafes across Australia and Japan.
