Roaster notes

"Most people's initial encounter with a dark roast is a cup full of smoke and ash, but we think it's much tastier than that. We take care to maintain those origin characteristics and soften the coffee's acidity to highlight those deep molasses and spice notes. Unlike the south and north pole, there's no real geographic significance to the 'West Pole', it's kind of a made-up concept. We named our blend after it... just because."
