Roaster Notes
Incredible decaf starts with a juicy, sweet selection of coffee beans. The coffees of the Desarrollo producer group near the town of Gigante fit the bill perfectly. At the Descafecol plant in Manizales, the caffeine is removed, as though by magic, using naturally occurring Ethyl Acetate derived from sugar cane. A process that preserves all those delightful flavors as it removes the caffeine through a long soaking process.
