Colombia La Primavera Decaf
Sweet Cream, Cacao, Red Currant
Coffee decaffeinated by the power of sugarcane? You've got our attention. La Primavera decaf tastes like a sweet pastry loaded with red fruits and caramelized flaky edges. A far cry from those dusty, cardboardy brews of days gone by for sure! It's roasted to a happy medium so you can enjoy it via whatever brew method takes your fancy.

Roaster notes
This is not your traditional decaf. First, we approve the green coffee prior to decaffeination to ensure it's above specialty grade and free of defects. Then caffeine is removed with a sugarcane molasses solvent which retains all the original coffee's taste. Best of all? Colombian coffee, processed in Colombia = reduced carbon footprint.
Roaster
They took a pioneering approach to sourcing coffee through a relationship model, placing emphasis on direct trade as a way to support thriving livelihoods for producers at origin. They earned Roast Magazine's prestigious 'Roaster of the Year' award in 2013, are home to the first barista union in the USA and are currently transitioning to a worker-owned company. Gimme! Coffee roasts all their coffee on two Probat drum-style roasters at their facility in Ithaca, NY.
