Our mission as a coffee roaster is to improve the quality of life for every person in the supply chain, from producers to the people who drink it. The Retro blend is our take on traditional espresso—bold and strong with notes of chocolate, caramel and candied nuts. The most developed roast we've got in our arsenal.
Roaster
Coffee Project NY owner, Chi Sum Ngai, is a certified Q grader and roasting championship competitor, and personally oversees the company’s roasting program. Coffee Project NY sources their high-grade coffees from all over the world and favors coffees with a social conscience - many come from small scale cooperatives and family farms who focus on improving work conditions and benefits for farm workers. After all, the Coffee Project NY mission statement is to improve the quality of life for every person in the coffee supply chain from producers to consumers. Their goal is to share their passion for coffee not only with the East Village, or New York City, but with the world.
