Roaster notes

Wolisho is a coffee variety endemic to the Guji forests and Gedeo highlands of southern Ethiopia. It s an heirloom variety selected for its phenotypic expressions: large cherries, low yields, and slow development, which are associated with high cup quality. Like other heirloom varieties growing naturally in the forests of Ethiopia, this variety is not a formal genetic cultivar but a local population of plants selected for their shared phenotypic characteristics.
