Kii AA
Lemonade, Strawberry
Grown in the rich volcanic soils of Kenya’s Central Highlands, this lot comes from smallholder farmers of the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, whose farms sit between 1,600 and 1,800 metres above sea level — altitudes that bring out the hallmark density and sweetness of great Kenyan coffee. Expect a cup that’s bright and juicy, with notes of strawberry and red lemonade — a true reflection of Kenyan s world-class terroir.

Roaster notes
One of our favorite Kenyan coffees we have been showcasing for the last three years. A mix of SL28, Ruiru 11, SL34, Batian - this coffee is delicious as both espresso and filter. Even more so for a cold brew.
Roaster

Mecca was founded in 2005 and immediately set out to answer the big questions that are often asked in the specialty coffee industry. “Who grew this coffee?” “How much did they get paid?” and “Why does this lot taste so different from the last one?” Their pursuit of transparency at the farm level has led them to offer a higher level of service and quality to their customers across Australia. Uncompromising standards from day one is the reason that they have thrived in the specialty coffee industry since.
