Inspired by the Seattle coffee revival of the 1980s and obsessed with flavour, Michael Allpress began the first coffee cart in New Zealand in 1989. Since then, Allpress Espresso has innovated with custom-built hot air roasters to supply over one thousand cafes around the world. Proud Mary was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2009. The husband-wife duo, Nolan and Shari Hirte sought to offer products and services to improve your day, setting an industry wide standard in sourcing, roasting and preparation of delicious coffee. Mecca was founded in 2005 and immediately set out to answer the big questions that are often asked in the specialty coffee industry. “Who grew this coffee?” “How much did they get paid?” and “Why does this lot taste so different from the last one?” Their pursuit of transparency at the farm level has led them to offer a higher level of service and quality to their customers across Australia. Uncompromising standards from day one is the reason that they have thrived in the specialty coffee industry since.

Market Lane Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and retailer founded and headquartered in Melbourne. 'Good coffee, good for everyone’ embodies their commitment to a responsible, sustainable, and respectful culture of specialty coffee. They are dedicated to sourcing, roasting, and brewing beautiful coffees.

Since being founded in 2012 amid the discerning Melbourne specialty coffee scene, Code Black Coffee has blossomed. Their goal is to offer an all-encompassing experience accessible to everyone while paying respect to the many people that have contributed to each cup of coffee; from the grower to the barista. Made by humans, and as their motto states: “Made for Humans.”

The Little Marionette coffee roasters was founded by Ed Cutcliffe with the intention of making great coffee accessible to all. From winning over locals as a hole-in-the-wall café in Sydney's Inner West, they have grown into a specialty roaster at the forefront of the coffee industry in Australia. Their commitment to sustainability reaches from the materials they use in their cafe and packaging, to their relationships with the farmers they partner with.

Founded in 2010 by David Makin and Zoe Delany, Axil Coffee was created with a singular vision: to craft the finest cup of coffee. Axil has since grown to become a leading destination for specialty coffee in Melbourne. The roots of Axil can be traced back to Hawthorn, with our inaugural cafe situated on Burwood Road, which also housed the roastery. Now, Axil has 16 locations around Melbourne and hundreds of wholesale accounts around the world.
