Since the 1990s, Danes has been a trailblazer and innovator in the specialty coffee industry of Australia. Their passion on flavour is what drives and challenges them to produce many of the most awarded coffees and coffee professionals in recent years through the AICA. The Little Marionette coffee roasters was founded by Ed Cutcliffe with the intention of making great coffee accessible to all. From winning over locals as a hole-in-the-wall café in Sydney's Inner West, they have grown into a specialty roaster at the forefront of the coffee industry in Australia. Their commitment to sustainability reaches from the materials they use in their cafe and packaging, to their relationships with the farmers they partner with.

Building on their two decades of coffee knowledge, Rocky Veneziano and Craig Dickson founded Veneziano to support cafes in their goals to improve everyday lives. Their growing team of passionate and talented professionals work constantly to impact the coffee industry through meaningful change. Veneziano’s goals are neatly wrapped up in their motto: “Make. Achieve. Discover. Evolve.”

Over nearly forty years of being at the forefront of the specialty coffee industry in Australia, Wolff Coffee Roasters has evolved into an international resource of coffee education for professionals as well as a supplier for any start-up roaster in the region. Their pursuit of excellence in all that they do is evident in the craftsmanship of their cafe and coffee, the efficiency of their warehouse and the success of their educational facility.

Since being founded in 2012 amid the discerning Melbourne specialty coffee scene, Code Black Coffee has blossomed. Market Lane Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and retailer founded and headquartered in Melbourne. 'Good coffee, good for everyone’ embodies their commitment to a responsible, sustainable, and respectful culture of specialty coffee. They are dedicated to sourcing, roasting, and brewing beautiful coffees.

Mecca was founded in 2005 and immediately set out to answer the big questions that are often asked in the specialty coffee industry. “Who grew this coffee?” “How much did they get paid?” and “Why does this lot taste so different from the last one?” Their pursuit of transparency at the farm level has led them to offer a higher level of service and quality to their customers across Australia. Uncompromising standards from day one is the reason that they have thrived in the specialty coffee industry since.

Proud Mary was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2009. The husband-wife duo, Nolan and Shari Hirte sought to offer products and services to improve your day, setting an industry wide standard in sourcing, roasting and preparation of delicious coffee. It's the heart of what they do placing Proud Mary in a uniquely wonderful space of exceptional ingredients and thoughtful service. 

Rumble Coffee was founded on a desire to shake up the coffee industry, whilst focusing on three core ingredients; roasting the best coffee Melbourne has to offer, establishing ongoing relationships with coffee farmers, and doing so with an unwavering commitment to doing the right thing by the planet and the people on it. Their tight-knit team is united by a common goal of creating a sustainable future for coffee, where everyone in the supply chain is paid fairly, and coffees are sourced with integrity and transparency.

Established in 2003, Pablo & Rusty’s opened their first cafe on Sydney’s North Shore. Gradually, their mission became clear: to positively impact people and the planet through coffee.

Founded in 2010 by David Makin and Zoe Delany, Axil Coffee was created with a singular vision: to craft the finest cup of coffee. Axil has since grown to become a leading destination for specialty coffee in Melbourne. The roots of Axil can be traced back to Hawthorn, with our inaugural cafe situated on Burwood Road, which also housed the roastery. Now, Axil has 16 locations around Melbourne and hundreds of wholesale accounts around the world.

“Independent and proud of it.” St ALi is the original purveyor of specialty coffee in Melbourne. Disciple Roasters make a point to emphasise the role of the coffee growers above all others. They hold a firm belief that the most crucial components of coffee’s journey are the producers. Through gentle coaxing in the roasting process, Disciple offers their coffees to the community as a showcase for the farmers’ hard work.

Inspired by the Seattle coffee revival of the 1980s and obsessed with flavour, Michael Allpress began the first coffee cart in New Zealand in 1989. Since then, Allpress Espresso has innovated with custom-built hot air roasters to supply over one thousand cafes around the world. Their dedication to their customers is summed up in their motto: “We roast specialty coffee for the best independent cafes in the world. And for your kitchen too.”
